What do we use the Imperative for?


a) Give direct orders:- Shut up!                 d) Make invitations/ offers:- Have a cup of tea.
b) Give directions:-Open your books.       e) Warnings : Don't play with knives
c) Give advice:- Be careful.                       f) Requests:- Help me with my homework,please!

How do we form it
It's very easy: 
We use the Verb in the Infinitive without  TO
 E.g: : Be quiet! / Sit down!/ Don't make noise!(Negative)

The Royal Wedding of the century

It was a really wonderful wedding ceremony. The
 bride is very beautiful and the groom a handsome young man. The wedding dress was beautiful and fitted Kate perfectly.
It was a dream wedding, don't you think?
