London swimmers ready to attempt Loch Ness relay


Six women are expected to start their attempt to swim the length of Loch Ness in relay.

Setting off from the Fort Augustus Abbey end of the loch, they could take up to 18 hours to complete their challenge.The members of London's Serpentine Swimming Club have had tartan swim suits specially made for the challenge.The oldest swimmer in the group is 65 and they are raising money for a new hospital in Afghanistan. A lifeboat crew will be on hand in case any of the swimmers get into difficulty.
